Restoration of St Mary's Church Rogiet 2003

St.Mary's Church underwent extensive restoration of the building and repair to the boundary wall. Scaffolding was placed all over the exterior and the old roofs removed.

The pointing was replaced on the outside walls and great care had to be taken with the placing the scaffolding around the porch.
A new tiled roof went onto the main part of the Church.

The tower roof was restored, re-tiled and re-leaded.

An internal view of the tower roof.

The internal walls were re-pointed and the inside of the Church redecorated.

A new altar was installed after it was discovered that the old one was not actually an altar stone.
