Benefice Harvest Festival
Held on Sunday 12th September.
The Church was beautifully decorated and at the centre was the new banner given to our Benefice from our link Church in the Highveldt. Lillian was present at the service to present gifts to all the churches in the Benefice: special crosses which are to be used each week by different members of the the Benefice churches were received by representatives of all the churches. The crosses represent the love and prayers from the Highveldt. A vuvuzela was also presented but it needed practice before anyone could make a sound. Father Lyndon gave a sermon on the harvesting of souls and the choir sang an anthem. The bell ringers gave a beautiful display and songs were sung by Led Balloon. It was an awesome service.
