EASTER MORNING 5.30 A.M. 2011
The Benefice Easter services began at 5.30 a.m. with a sunrise service at St. Mary's Rogiet. A fire was brning briskly and the Pascall Candle was lit from the flames. The congregation lit their own candles from the Pascall Candle before entering the Church. The servce was led by Reverend Annie with Father Lyndon and Father Den assisting. Father Den gave the sermon explaining how someone had become converted to the Christian faith.
St. Mary's Rogiet Open Day
Saturday 23rd April, 2011.
An Open Day was held in St. Mary's Rogiet, to raise money for the Church Funds. The weather was marvelous and the cakes and tea/coffee were served with a smile. The Church was ready for the early Easter morning servic: there was the Easter garden in the altar and a crown of thorns was supended above the altar.
Our next Church Open Day is on Saturday 21st May 2011, 2-4pm – we hope to see you there!
